CETIM

Technical centre for mechanical engineers -
Cetim - Technical centre for mechanical engineers (Centre technique des industries mécaniques) was created in 1965 on the initiative of mechanical engineering companies and their professional bodies (the latter pilot the organisation). It is placed under the official guardianship of the State.

It is administered by a 32 member council, half of whom are mechanical engineering industrialists.
A technical committee assists and advises the director on scientific and technical matters.
Professional commissions are the preferred bodies for communication and collective collaboration with companies in the profession.
The director is assisted by a management committee. 730 people, including 560 engineers and technicians, make up the staff of Cetim

The EUROPEAN Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) is a European trade organisation serving the power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry. Wherever the production facility, whatever the product, PT/MC products are an essential part of the manufacturing process, transmit¬ting power and controlling motion.
Founded in May 1998, EPTDA¿s mission is to strengthen members to be successful, profitable and competitive in an ever changing environment. The founding procedure and set-up of EPTDA was very much supported by PTDA. Both associations are formally affiliated.
EPTDA is dedicated to advancing distribution and member success by providing information, education and business tools to meet the needs of the industrial marketplace com¬petitively and profitably.
EPTDA today has 191 members ¿ 101 distributors, 77 manufacturers, 13 associate members.
